Acoma Energy continued its Delaware Basin development strategy with multiple wells utilizing one-mile and two-mile laterals in the Wolfcamp shale. The Larson well, which came online in the fourth quarter of 2017, is performing in line with a 1,100 MBOE EUR type curve.

Testing in the area has included higher frac intensities—up to 4,000 pounds per foot—providing valuable data for optimizing future wells. The Walter-Fister well is scheduled for frac operations in the first quarter of 2018, with additional drilling slated for the second quarter.

With strong early results and continued innovation in completions, Acoma is enhancing its understanding of the basin’s potential and refining its development approach.
