Acoma Operating, LLC closed out 2023 with a landmark acquisition—150 conventional wells known collectively as the Wolf Prospect. With this addition, Acoma’s operated well count climbs past 200, supporting production that now exceeds 200 boe/d.

The Wolf Prospect represents significant untapped potential. President Matthew Anderson notes that past operators overlooked opportunities to revitalize the field, creating room for immediate improvement. Acoma plans to apply its proven operational strategies—streamlined service management and straightforward rework practices—to drive production higher.

The company is targeting a return to what it calls the Wolf Prospect’s “heydays,” with a goal of pushing output to 250+ barrels per day. With a combination of experience, strategic focus, and fresh energy, Acoma is positioning the asset for a strong resurgence.
